Keystone Leadership Academy
Education at Academy Ranches is offered onsite through Keystone Leadership Academy. Each student is enrolled in a year-round, self-paced accredited academic program and credits earned are fully transferable to any school district. Academic progress is measured by competence and not classroom time. KLA offers 4th grade through 12th grade and instruction towards high school graduation or GED completion, as well as SAT or ACT preparations. For students who finish high school before being adequately prepared to return home, KLA is also able to offer college courses. Each student will have a certified teacher to offer instruction, individual tutoring, and mentoring. KLA’s academic department works with parents to create the ideal education plan for each student and provide monthly written progress reports. As a Northwest Association of Accredited Schools member, KLA also offers special education services and Individual Education Plans for those students who require such assistance. Students are required to participate in elective courses in the arts and humanities, to satisfy requirements and broaden their experiences. As an additional benefit, we offer a leadership centered curriculum based on classic literature and mentoring.

In addition to school success, life skills are an essential ingredient to each youth's ability to be successful after completing the program at Academy Ranches. As part of their life skills education each student will be given instruction in:
