Facilities
 Situated just outside the ranching community of Preston in southeastern Idaho, Academy Ranches is located on over 100 acres of pasture and ranch land. Current facilities include a large residence, offices, stables, corrals, and a covered riding arena. Youth are taught responsibility and life skills through daily indoor and outdoor chores, cooking, activities and community service.
Activities
Daily and weekly activities will be held for the youth, including off-campus excursions and activities. Sports, theater, games, and a vast selection of outdoor recreation is also available to each student. Community and service projects give students the sense of satisfaction derived from selfless giving and helping others. As students progress through the program, more activities and incentives are offered.
An important part of the program at Academy Ranches is our Sunday religious services. Youth are given the opportunity to attend and participate in regular religious services. A strong spiritual component is integral in the healing process. Academy Ranches has no specific religious affiliation and acceptance and tolerance of others beliefs is encouraged during these services.
Schedule
Students at Academy Ranches are kept very busy. All activities will supervised by trained staff.
